Chesterfield Crooked Spire

After passing through Chesterfield daily by train for my work placement with Rachael Taylor in February, I noticed a strange looking church.  I quizzed my Grandad about it and he explained that the spire is made from lead and is structured by an oak frame.  The 45 degrees twist was caused by the suns heat on the lead, which made the lead expand, this then formerly made the church known as 'The Crooked Spire.'  As I had asked my Grandad about this, he thought it was a great idea to have a closer look when we went on out travels.
